He has been in the service of Federal Government of Nigeria in the Federal Ministry of Agriculture since 1975 till date.He was Planning Officer (fisheries) Gd II between 1975 and 1977, Planning Officer (fisheries) Gd I between 1977 and 1978, Senior Planning Officer between 1979 and 1982, Principal Planning Officer between 1982 and 1985, Assistant Chief Planning Officer between 1985 and 1988, Chief Planning Officer between 1988 and 1990, AG. Assistant Director between 1991 and 1993, Assistant Director (Head National Council on Agriculture Secretariat) between 1994 and 1999. He is Deputy Director since 1999 till date.
Chief Owoade Adekunle Omoni was Prefect (Socials) Ogbomosho Grammar School in 1967, Senior Prefect Olivet Baptist High School Oyo in 1969, Hall President , Nnamdi Azikwe Hall, University of Ibadan between 1972 and 1973, President, U.I Alumni Association, Abuja between 1998 and 2004. He is the National President, Ilobu Descedants Union from 2005 to date.
Chief Owoade Adekunle Omoni is the Ataiyese of Oko, Ogbomosho Land and Okanlomo of Ilobu Land.
He is happily married with four children.
Chief Owoade Adekunle Omoni, hails from Ilobu and he had his secondary education at Anglican Grammar School Otan-Ayegbaju and Ogbomoso Grammar School between 1963 and 1967.
He completed Higher School Certificate (HSC) from Olivet Baptist High School, Oyo between 1968 and 1969. At University of Ibadan he completed B.Sc (Agric Economics) in 1974.
At Whitefish Authority , Hull, England he completed Diploma in Fish Management in 1979 and in 1981, he completed Diploma in Project Analysis at Texas Tech. University, Lubbock, TX. USA. Chief Owoade Adekunle Omoni was P.A to GM, Oil Palm Company Sapele between 1974 and 1975.
