Erinlè is a hunter òrìshà. He is the patron deity of Ilobu. Ilobu, located in South western Nigeria lies along the Erinlè river, a tributary of the Òsun River, on the road from Ogbomosho to Oshogbo.
Ilobu is a trade centre for the yams, corn, cassava, oil palms, pumpkins, beans, and okra grown in a savanna area mainly inhabited by the Yorùbá people.

ILOBU, the administrative headquarter of Irepodun Local Government has a population of about 220825 (1998 Census), (1995 census was 194,400).
Ilobu is located in a sparsely forested area and is bounded in the north by Ifon-Osun, in the south by Osogbo, in the east by Oba and in the west by Erin-Osun, and is watered by Ojutu river, Elentere river, Konda river and a few other streams.

Citation on the occasion of Inaugural Star Award Ceremony of New Moon Club 81.
Isola Adepoju was born to a sheep and goats Dealer who also was a farmer, a reputable washerman and a humble elder-statesman of his time, Alfa Yusuf Adewoyin Adepoju of Akeyo Compound in Ilobu.
As a young child he, Isola Adepoju was a budding artist before ever he started, at about the age of twelve, to acquire formal education at Saint Theresa Catholic School, Ilata in Ilobu. In 1949 he represented his school in a literary inter-schools competition at an Arts Exhibition held at Osogbo winning two certificates of merit in both Hand-writing and Lettering respectively.
